The Howard Phillips Center serves the most at-risk families in Central Florida. This wonderful organization helps thousands of toddlers with special needs, children who have been abused, and teens who lack access to healthcare. It provides support for these families who face significant struggles in life. Through Making STEM Fun, we have found a way to inspire kids to learn about topics that will hopefully lead to a better future for them and their families.

The Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children is the largest pediatric referral hospital in Central Florida. It has takes care of kids with the most complex medical illnesses. Many of the illnesses these kids face require them to be hospitalized for long stretches of time, forcing them to miss out on normal childhood things such as school, extracurricular, and social activities. Our team at Making STEM Fun sought out to change that and make a difference for these children. We have partnered with the Ryan Seacrest Foundation to broadcast from their studio directly to hospitalized children's rooms to teach them about STEM subjects in a fun way. They love the distraction and hopefully learn to love learning about STEM!

The Ryan Seacrest Foundation’s primary initiative is to build broadcast media centers, named Seacrest Studios, for pediatric patients to explore the creative realms of radio, television and new media. RSF’s aim is to contribute positively to the healing process for children and their families during their stay by developing these centers to bring an uplifting spirit to the hospital community. While the focus has always been on delivering entertainment, Making STEM Fun has introduced educational initiatives to children who are missing critical educational opportunities while they are hospitalized.
Please consider donating to the RSF to help build and sustain the broadcast media centers:
